A new friend for Shona

Since Shona's last companion found a great home and people to love him, Shona was getting a little bored (with just Cooper to bug), so Resee came to stay with us. Now with Resee being a puppy, Shona of course had to have a few discussions with her about how she is suppose to behave! Shona, being a mom herself, knows that these kids today need to have someone to show them the ropes - like don't bite me hard with those little puppy teeth and stop stealing my stuff (I will just steal it back!) and with that said, they are getting along (and of course Cooper as well) just great. Resee is learning to walk very nicely with her new harness - if we walk in the field we can let her leash go and she likes to bite onto Cooper's leash and it looks like Resee is walking Cooper! Of course, Cooper gives me one of those looks like, "who attached this boat anchor to me?" But they are having fun and Resee, being the puppy that she is, is all about fun. Don't let her missing leg fool you, she can run and play with the best, Cooper has been teaching her the fine art of "dog tennis" and he thinks she will be a star at it! The more we walk and run and play, the better her balance keeps getting. Since it's been hot, we already have the pool out and Resee likes nothing better than to go over, get in, have and drink and then lay down. She's already decided she would love to go live where someone will swim with her. Shona just loves to get out and run around and around her, showing her just how fast she is and Resee with her puppy clumsiness tries to catch her - more fun and games. Shona is such a sweet girl and her only complaint is that sometimes the puppy gets too much attention and Shona needs to show how much love she has to give. She loves to be petted and listen so well, so it all works out
