Tux
Tux has decided on a
career choice... He wants to be a diver! He loves running through tall grass,
rolling around in it and diving and jumping into. For a while I thought he was
trying to make "crop circles", alien that he is, he just has the best time
rolling around in the grass and jumping about. I'm sure he is very entertaining
to people driving by during our morning walk. Then we went down to the lake.
The first time he walked in to his chest and came out. Now he jumps in and
splashes and plays around like he was born to it. He's almost pulled me in a
couple times so we got a longer lead and will try that next time. I have a
feeling that I'm not going to come out of this totally dry....but he's loving
it. This boy just enjoys life. He has a great time on our walks, investigating
everything he can, smelling all he can, and as much as he loves playing with
Levi, there are times I see him running around the yard, tossing toys in the
air, playing his own game. This is a sweet, funny guy looking for someone to
share in his view of life!
Levi
Levi is getting bigger and
better looking every day! He pretty much follows tux around all day, imitating
him and pestering as only a puppy can do! As a puppy's role in life is to check
out everything, you can imagine Levi gets himself into many situations, some
very funny, others he finds very fun , me not so much! (I'm sure he has at least
a half dozen holes he's started in the yard in his quest to catch the
chipmunks!). He's learning as all puppies must and will be a terrific dog! He
is a quick learner, very food orientated, so easy to work with. He's learned
(from tux), the complete joy of jumping and rolling around to the tall grass and
is taking baby steps to play in the lake. He will follow tux in but then seems
unsure about what's happening.. It's very cute to watch him try to figure out!
He is a very loving pup and when not trying to get something going with one of
the other dogs, he likes to come up looking for loving and snuggle time. But at
this stage only until something distracts him and he's off on the next puppy
adventure!
