Kayla is still recovering from
her heart worm shots - and anyone who thinks twice about whether these shots are
necessary should see this poor, beautiful, little girl & her suffering
through this. but being the little fighter that she is - she is persevering
through it with class! she just loves to be held & petted and is such a
treasure. she loves everyone - including the cat who she lies to snuggle with as
well - she clearly stated, "some of my best friends are cats!" she likes to sit
on my lap - under a blanket until she gets too hot - and "combat crawl on her
belly" up to my face to give little kisses - what a sweet, sweet girl. anyone
would fall in love with her at first meeting! she is feeling better every day
and i think now it is going to be the challenge to keep her from running and
playing as she continues to recover from the treatment!
Raven is enjoying his walks
more every day - the only issue is he has discovered deer tracks & wants to
investigate them all - we were stopping every ten feet or so to allow him to
smell around & see what was happening. my dog (cattle dog mix who is all
about the forward movement) at one point even shouted to him to stop smelling
every footprint & cover his nose with a scarf so we could keep moving!
Raven just loves to investigate all that he can - he's like the "Sherlock
Holmes" of the dog world, examining up close & personal all the tracks &
markings - so funny. He loves to watch the world go by! anyone looking for a
