Schroeder is
fine with the cats and doesn't pay any attention to them - Grady on the other hand
constantly watches
them and some people may not appreciate his attention - but he doesn't hurt
them.
A funny story - last week when we were out walking and we
ran into a bunch of kids playing on the school field - they saw the dogs and
wanted to come and pet them - they came over and were a little too over anxious
for Cooper so he took off and ran and stood in the
middle of the corn field and watched all the proceedings from a safe distance. Schroeder did what i
expect border terriers do and ran in circles checking out the border before he
let any of them pet him, but Grady bit the bullet and walked carefully up
to them and let them pet him. The one little boy said "wow, does he ever have a
lot of fur, he'll never get cold - my grandma needs a coat like his, she's
always cold!" then his friend added his comments, "I don't think he can stay up
here in Wisconsin in
the summer he's going to get too hot with all that fur - can you take it off?
otherwise he's going to have to go away for the summer, someplace cold, like
Alaska or Michigan!"
Does Lori have summer camps for fluffy dogs in
Alaska or Michigan?
