Update
Torch and Kon-Tiki have been adopted. Fire went to another foster to keep fluffy puppy Slushie company. That leaves Hut with foster mom Pat...….but don't worry about him:
Gentleman that he is, he gave kisses to Kon-Tiki's new family then realized he was all alone! But, no fear, my Lucy picked up on the "lonely vibes" and had a nice play session so he wouldn't miss her too much. Then Cooper, (my border collie mix) came home from visiting his uncle, Hut got to
say a big "hello" to him, so all was good. Hut, like all of the pups, is such a friendly, loving, little
guy, just watching him run around makes you smile. Now that he's alone here he is anxiously waiting for his the chance to show his new family what a good dog he is!

Update July.........
Tiki had one last disciplinary talk with the kids and has now gone to
a new foster. She was spayed yesterday and what I heard
this morning is "her spunky self is back", and
that's a good thing! Tiki is an adorable, sweet,
affectionate girl who loves to play and go for walks... also
very good at hiding and storing toys for later use... I'm still
finding stuff under bushes and trees!
The pups are all healthy and having a
ball chewing, running, playing and chasing. It's
always amazing to see how quick they grow in a couple of
weeks and how quickly they adapt to new routine. We have
now separated them out to each sleep in their own
crate;(left them together for a while as they got settled
after so many changes); but now they're ready to move on
and find their own forever home.
Fire still seems to be the leader of the
pack but also the one that comes running first when you call
them. He loves to be picked up and snuggled for a bit
before he gets the treat he knows is coming.
Torch (big boy) is always right behind him and seems to be mellowing a bit.
He still has the "puppy must have it" but
doesn't get worried when he doesn't get his treat
first, he knows he'll get one. He is a very loveable
little boy.
The two smaller pups, Kon Tiki (tiki-too) and Hut both love to
take a run around the yard, say hi to the other dogs and get
a bit of fun exploring in before they go into their crate.
It's always those two I am chasing down to prevent
escape. But really not too hard as they too like a bit of
snuggle time and their treat.

Kon-Tiki, 9 weeks old
Kon-Tiki is the little girl. She isn't as confident as her two larger brothers and knows to find her foster mom to say pick me up when unsure. She is so very sweet.
